Hi Jim
We have just returned from two fantastic weeks in Scotland and are now looking at houses instead of the Cuillin ridge, Loch Gairloch and the Torridon beasties. Oh well there is always next year.
We are not on facebook but would like to leave you some very positive feedback for the excellent guiding you and your team provided us with. We have written a testament below so if you can use it in any way please feel free. It was great to meet you and thanks once again for two great adventures. I will be in touch for sure when we are next in the area.
Cheers Mick and Aly.
Testament
Myself and my family have just had two fantastic days out in the west coast of Scotland thanks to Jim and his team. Our first adventure was a full days mtb ride for my wife and myself with our guide for the day Laura across the stunning Applecross peninsula. We had an amazing day out with beautiful scenery, technical riding and of course great coaching and tips throughout the day from Laura. On the return leg from Applecross bay we surprised ourselves on how much we had improved and managed technical descents we didnt think possible on the way out. Not only is Laura a great coach she is fab company  too. To sum up our day consisted of stunning views, great friendly coaching, fantastic challenging riding with a tasty cafe stop thrown in for good measure.
For our second adventure we booked half a day intro rock climbing with Jim himself.  His friend and former outdoor education pupil at Gairloch High School, James also came along to observe and help out where appropriate. We were joined for this adventure by my son and his wife who  now accompanied us on our Scottish holiday. After an informal chat with Jim where we discussed our aims etc for the day it was on with the gear and off to Clown Slab just outside Gairloch. We had great fun on various pitches with Jim and James both providing excellent coaching and company throughout. We practiced both climbing and belaying on the open crag and it was a fantastic experience for us all. Jim then decided he wanted us all to have a go at leading so we drove to School Crag and once again had great fun practicing yet another new skill. The day finished with us all going for a well earned beer at The Old Inn in Gairloch, a fitting end to a superb day.
We have now used Jim and his team several times for activities including mtb riding, climbing and roped scrambles over the likes of Liathach. Each adventure has been different but the result has been the same i.e. a fantastic day out learning new skills with great guides. I cannot recommend Jim and his team highly enough whatever skills you may want to develop or adventure you may fancy.
