A great day out was had on Applecross peninsula with Mike and Alison in the middle of their West Coast Fortnight. The trail was in ace condition, the heather was bloomin’ marvellous and we managed to leave most of the midgies back in the car park. We worked on body position, braking and cornering, running some of the sections more than once. Views of the Skye Cuillin and a dietician-endorsed café stop awaited us in Applecross Bay. Mike and Alison enjoyed mastering the narrow singletrack and the countless techy challenges this trail has to offer. Big grins all round for riding features on the return leg that looked unachievable on the way out. We had some of those apples and will be back for more!
