Beinn Alligin

Ben AlliginIan was over in Torridon last week for a day to take Nick over Beinn Alligin. This is a great way to get a feel for the Torridon hills, the position at the end of the glen gives the best views of the other Munros and Beinn Dearg, and the Horns of Alligin allow a friendly introduction to scrambling on the Torridion sandstone, with the difficulty increasing slightly on each of the three horns.

Nick chose the day well and after some light rain the clouds cleared, the rock dried and Torridon put on it’s usual stunning show.
