|The weather delivered another fine day on Liathach for Catherine, Paul Jane and Margaret. The four made short work of the steep ascent onto the main ridge where the stunning views of the Beinn Eighe ridge stretching eastwards left everyone breathless. After a quick snack we made our way along the ridge to Spidean, more snacks while we watched people in front of us work their way along the pinnicles of Am Fasarinen, knowing that we too would soon be there. Everyone enjoyed the exposed scrambling, though some more than others and all too soon it was all over with only the ascent of Mullach an Rathain left to do. During the descent Margaret demonstrated her excellent knowledge of all the spring plants and their Latin names.
