An Teallach

This mountain really needs no introduction…

The SYHA Torridon Munros activity holiday wasn’t enough for Tam and Andrew, they decided to book an extra day with nineonesix-guiding to complete the traverse of An Teallach. They couldn’t have picked a better day, bright sunshine and a cool gentle breeze eased the effort of climbing up to the summit of Sail Liath to begin our traverse. Tam and Andrew relished every minute of the exposed scrambling along one of Britain’s narrowest mainland ridges, so much so ,that they both sat on Lord Berkley’s seat with their legs dangling over the exposed edge. We walked off the hill down to Dundonnell in beautiful evening sunshine for a well deserved beer, only three more days to go guys!
