Good things come to those who wait!

Originally Bill had booked a days guiding on Skye for monday, but with the first proper winter storms coming through at the start of the week, 90 mph winds and snow above 800 meters, we waited, and waited a bit more. Our patience paid off as thursday evening the high pressure system arrived, giving us perfect conditions for friday, dry rock, no wind and nobody else around.

We opted for the classic round of Corie Lagan, starting up the Sgumain stone shoot, over Sgurr Alistair and then the complex route finding over to Sgurr Mhic Chonnich and a final highlight of the Inn Pinn, 3 munros and 6 hours of classic scrambling.
