On Wednesday Malcolm and I went hunting for a view. This was no ordinary view. This view of Mullach an Rathain belonged to a giant painting that Malcolm owned (http://www.jamiehageman.com/page4.htm). Malcolm owns three of Jamie’s paintings and it has been his quest of late to venture into the hills to stand in the exact spot where they were painted and absorb the view for real. Unfortunately on Wednesday the only thing Malcolm and I could absorb was the rain and the blanket thick mist that was preventing us of achieving our goal. On the plus side for the first time I was serenaded across Liathach by Malcolm and we got to explore a the side of Liathach which is usually only frequented in winter.
