Katie’s first munro

Katie and I enjoyed a great day out on Beinn Eighe on Tuesday. It was Katie’s first munro and my first day of guiding for nineonesix. We walked round into Coire Mhic Fhearchair, enjoying sunny views down to the sea. Low cloud swirled around us as we braved the scree ascent onto the top of the ridge. Following the ridge along, we reached Spidean Coire nan Clach moments before some dramatic cloud formations delivered rain. A steep descent took us back to the road, perfectly timed to catch a lift from Jim and Ian on their way back from climbing at Creag nan Cadhag. Well done Katie – to the first of many.
