Catherine was back in the north west for another day out with the Nineonesix team at the weekend, and this time she dragged along Paul for a taste of the action. Munro bagging was the name of the game so after the long walk round into Corie Mhic Fhearchair we climbed up the gully and along to Ruadh stac Mor before lunch. It was pretty busy along the main ridge with lots of people enjoying the good weather, so we had plenty of company on our way round to Spidean Coire nan Clach. We then left the crowds behind as we continued along to complete a very full traverse of the mountain with a crossing of the Black Carls before dropping all the way back into Kinlochewe.
A long day, but well worth it for a classic scottish ridge traverse.
