Today I had the pleasure of guiding John on Maoile Lunndaidh 1007m, Sgurr a Chaorachain 1053m and Sgurr Choinnich 999m. We used mountain bikes to get close and then traversed them from east to west. On the way up we hit cloud at 800m. This provided a great chance to talk about pacing, following a bearing from point to point and interpretation of the terrain we can see. A fantastic day with great views, 3 new Munros for use both and good company. The descent on the bikes back to Craig almost felt like cheating!
