After the fun and games at ‘Ten under the Ben‘ last weekend it was back to work for nineonesix-guiding this past week.
The weather can be perhaps be described as challenging for Iain, Nathan and Jim as they guided and instructed their clients in wintery showers, gale force winds and lashing rain this week. We would all like to thank clients : Doreen, Leslie, Harry and Barry from the SYHA Torridon Munros course, Gus on his traverse of Liathach and finally Alice and Ellen for their great spirits in spite of the weather.
Thanks are also due to Pete and the OMM team for letting us give some of their products a bit of a thrash. Jim and Dunc have been using the versatile Villain 45 & Jirishanca 35 packs and the brilliant Kameleika smock whilst climbing, guiding and biking.
Look out for a review here at the nineonesix-guiding blog and on the OMM community blog.
A traverse of Beinn Alligin over The Horns, two traverses of Liathach, two days of learning more hill skills and an introduction to sport climbing and trad climbing – not bad going in 5 days!
Quite a week… Why don’t you get in touch with us to book your adventure?
