Sneer, Hells Lum

Dunc & Colin on 'Sneer' III, Hells Lum

Today Colin, Dunc and myself took a wee walk over to Hells Lum in The Cairngorms.  Reports of great ice on this crag proved to be reliable and we all enjoyed four  wonderful pitches of blue ice on this grade III route.  Shame about its’ name – ‘Sneer’ because there were a lot of smiles and laughs as three old friends got together on the hill again…
