“It was a great day out and I was made to feel like Alex’s priority for the
day. I was nervous about doing the Liathach ridge, but to my surprise with Alex’s
presence I tackled it comfortably and with great satisfaction. My hope is
to return hope next summer and tackle something in the Cuillin hills.

Still a lot of soft snow here in Shieldaig.  Shovel-up shelters have been built at the weekend.  You could even learn to do mixed climbing above the village without having to wade for hours up to your thighs in snow…
