Today Anna and Benni were joined by their friend Tina for a day of mountaineering skills above Shieldaig. The objectives for today were to make the team more independent and get them using their new skills in a scrambling/climbing environment. The crags above Shieldaig School once again provided a great venue to work on belay building, stance management, belaying one another, abseiling, oh and more belay building! Check out photos here.
By the end of the day Benni felt confident enough to lead three pitches himself, belayed by Anna or Tina. Well Done!
