Sgurr nan Gillean

Gillian scrambling to the summit of Sgurr nan Gillean

We woke to the sound of lashing rain proving the forecast to be correct, we decided a late start was in order. This paid off as the mists lifted off the Cullin ridge on our walk in from Slig. at 10am
Gillian ticked off another Skye Munro as she reached the summit of Sgurr nan Gillean and was rewarded with a rare view of a brocken spectre. The pounding rain returned shortly after leaving the south east ridge how lucky to grab these three hours of weather window.
