Sunday found nineonesix with a group of 13 led by Iain Stewart and Duncan Maclennan. Persevering with the wet and windy conditions on the long walk into Coire Mhic Fhearchair paid off as afternoon brought improving conditions which allowed us to make our return trip along the ridge, taking in Spidean Coire nan Clach on the way. The group preformed a human pyramid on the unnamed 956m top, increasing the blood pressure of the leader tenfold. Everybody was spell bound by the ever changing views as we made our way along the ridge and we were lucky enough to be bathed in afternoon sunshine as we made our final decent out of Coire an Laoigh.
Blog by Dunc Maclennan (Hopefully one of the group can supply a photo of the human pyramid…)
