Since starting operation in 2003 nineonesix – guiding has helped clients to climb Beinn Eighe on Hogmanay as their first ever winter Munro; assisted film crews working on a hillwalking series. ‘Tir is Teanga’ for Caledonia TV; introduced clients to rock climbing and abseiling within walking distance of Shieldaig village. As well as visiting all of the Munros in Torridon with clients, trips have also been made to An Teallach, The Cuillins of Skye and The Cairngorm Mountains in winter. Our aim at nineonesix – guiding is to share this beautiful area with other people by leading them on hill walks, scrambles and climbs in these stunning mountains. Although based in the heart of the Torridon mountains nineonesix – guiding can also take you to other areas, just get in touch and we can plan something together!
